Western Province dialogue on Banks loans with high interest rates.

Western Province dialogue on Banks loans with high interest rates.
Different from other dialogues so far conducted, this one was at the provincial level. This dialogue was conducted within Western Province Private Sector Federation exhibition that was organized in RUBAVU District within KIVU Lake Offshores from the 19th to 29th December 2015. This dialogue took place on the 23rd December 2015 and was attended by 65 participants; including 3 males from the public sector, 10 females and 52 males from the private sector. The dialogue was officially opened by Madam NYIRANSHUTI Marie Germaine; the Vice president of PSF in Western Province after the welcome note given by the Vice Mayor in charge of economic affairs in RUBAVU District. Due to the fact that the issue at the table concerned banks BK, BPR, COGEBANQUE, AGASEKE, AMASEZERANO were present.
The dialogue ended up by two key following resolutions:
1. For projects that are to generate income and benefits after a long term, clients/ beneficiaries are allowed to negotiate the loan interest.
2. To organize dialogue on the national level to discuss with all concerned the review of banks interests rates considered as high by several business community.
